They have an app and when you click on "map" it just takes you to their website. Instead I have to use my tiny little phone to try to traverse the zoo. It's like the people running the zoo have no clue that people would like to sit in the shade and enjoy a bite to eat. Hard to find actual food and once we did, it was hard to find somewhere to sit. I made a couple little stupid jokes and she just stared at me still. The first two cups had brown stuff all over the lip so I kept asking for a new cup until it was a clean one. The concession lady was nice enough to give us a cup. It's a zoo like most zoos.įirst, we got a couple water bottles. The kodiak and polar bears have nice enclosures and we seen them enjoying the water and playing. The aquarium has some beautiful species and the venomous snakes were interesting. Some of the enclosures seemed a little small for the animal. It appeared that many of the animals were being put away before the park closed. I figured that it would be pricey but, it is absolutely outrageous! And many of them were not even open. We finally seen were you can go around and enter the park. We weren't the only folks in line that were confused. In this line they were also selling tickets to enter. I don't know if it was because there were busloads of kids there that day but, we stood in a line paid and then was told to go over to another line to enter.
